Japanese Crinkled Voile - Kiwi

A lightweight cotton voile made in Japan from Japanese brand Kokka. It has a crushed look and hand feel, similar to that of georgette, with a slight natural stretch across the grain due to this. It is very soft to the touch, and being cotton would be most suited to summer dresses, lightweight blouses, jacket linings and even lightweight quilts and pillow cases. You could also make floaty lightweight trousers lined with a similar weight voile, or use it for summer curtains!

100% cotton. 140cm wide. Approximately 70gr/m2.

Price is per HALF metre.

We recommend that you prewash this fabric on a gentle 30˚ wash with a mild detergent and line-dry flat where possible. We suggest that ironing isn't needed for this fabric but if it gets too wrinkled, hang it up in your shower room to allow the steam to fall out the creases. We always advise prewashing before cutting in case of any minor shrinkage or dye transfer that could occur.
