  • Make Do and Knit Show - 27th and 28th March

    for news

Here's Rachel surrounded by Ray Stitch goodies at the Make Do and Knit Fair in Liverpool this last weekend. We had great fun and it was really nice to meet all the Liverpudlian stitchers in the lovely Bluecoat School. Thanks so much to Susan Crawford and Hellen Chatterton for organising the event - here's to next year!

  • Ysolda Original Patterns

If you have not already discovered it, we thought you might like this lovely website created by young Scottish designer Ysolda Teague. It features her original knitting patterns and they are all individually available as pdf downloads. There are some great designs as well as free email support and tutorials. It's really lovely - we thoroughly approve! Here is the link.  http://ysolda.com

We will have her new pattern book Whimsical Little Knits in stock in a week or so.

  • New Buttons!

    coconut3

New in are these lovely colour-glazed coconut buttons. They are finished very beautifully with the coconut edge clearly showing and make a very classy compromise if you want a natural button but jazzed up a bit! Find them in the Buttons section here.

Also new in are these ENORMOUS shell buttons below.

50mm diameter and available in 9 colours.

  • 4 more strap webbing colours...

We have added four new colours to our cotton strap webbing range.

The 30mm wide webbing is sold by the metre and we've had it specially dyed in colours we think work well with our fabric. It is very strong but also soft and easy to sew - making it ideal for using as bag handles. Find it in our haberdashery/bag making section here.
