Maximum Class Size: 6
Our Freestyle sewing and dressmaking classes are the perfect solution for those who either need some help with a project or want to make something specific that we don’t cover in any of the group classes. These tutor led evening workshops are designed for those who have a good understanding of how to use a sewing machine but would benefit from some guidance from one of our qualified teachers.
You can come along and set aside some dedicated sewing time with the luxury of spreading out your project, using our tools & machinery and not having to tidy up afterwards! During these weekly sessions you can enjoy the company of like minded people in a friendly environment.
We welcome all projects, bring anything from an untouched pattern to half made garments to vintage alterations. We can guarantee our teacher will be able to tackle anything!
Tools and refreshments are provided. Booking onto one of our classes entitles you to 10% off everything in store from the class date until 2 weeks after.
If you want to start something new that includes techniques you haven’t tried before and would like to book onto a few consecutive classes then you can get in touch to receive a discount.
Book 3 weekly Freestyle Classes for £115 to save £20! Call / email to book and receive your discount.
If you are already a group of 6 sewers and would like to book onto 6 weekly classes then please get in touch and we can arrange a time a teacher to suit your club.
ABOUT YOUR TEACHER
Rosie Boycott-Brown developed an interest in fashion whilst at school, she grew up in a very creative environment and was taught the technical skills involved in dressmaking and pattern cutting from her mother who worked in the industry. She went on to study Fashion & Knitted Textiles at Winchester School of Art and enjoyed a career in the knitwear industry, designing commercially for several High Street retailers. She has always enjoyed making her own clothes in her spare time. In 2013 Rosie made an impulsive decision to start her own label and now enjoys a full time career designing and making her own range of knitwear & homeware under the brand name Rose B. Brown.
