Anna Allen Clothing - Pomona Pants and Shorts - PDF Pattern

Please note: This is a Digital Sewing Pattern, not a Physical Paper Pattern. This PDF pattern is a digital download that must be printed at home or at a copy shop. You will receive an email with a link to download the pattern, which will give you several printing options.

The Pomona Pants + Shorts are elastic waist, high rise and loose fitting. They feature no side seams and include patch pockets on the front or back. The waistband is created by folding over the top edge of the pants, which eliminates the extra bulk you would get from a separate waistband seam. View A is a wide leg, ankle length sailor pant with one patch pocket on the back. View B is a loose tapered leg, ankle length pant, also with one patch pocket on the back. View C is the companion shorts to view A, with a 5” inseam and has two patch pockets on the front. This design was drafted for woven non-stretch fabrics.

Patterns file Details:

When you purchase this pattern, you will receive a digital (pdf) sewing pattern and instructions. This pattern comes packaged in a zip file. Please remember to first download this to your desktop computer and extract to access the PDF files.

After downloading the files to your computer, you can print out the pattern using your home printer. The pattern pages are formatted to fit US standard page size (8.5” x 11”) as well as A4 page size (8.26” x 11.69”). Be sure the printer settings are set to “actual size” (or 100%) and only print the first page that includes the test square before printing the rest of the pattern. Measure the test square with a ruler to be sure the pattern pages will print accurately. If the measurements are correct, go ahead and print the entire pattern. Assemble the printed pattern by cutting out the pattern pieces and matching them together by the letters and numbers that are marked on each pattern (“1A” to “1A”, “1B” to “1B” etc.) and then taping them together.
