The Zip Vest with Basic Sleeves is a slightly fitted jacket with space for a sweater underneath. It has a high collar and a zipper in the front. It does not have a lining. The instructions also describe how to make the Zip Vest without sleeves.

Fabric recommendations:
The pattern is designed for woven fabric types.
Choose fabric that has some structure. If you're unsure about fabric choice, fabric types like denim, canvas, wool, faux leather or a sturdy twill weave, for example, work well for this sleeve. If you choose leather or faux leather, you will need seam tape to hold the seam allowance in place.
