Bring your mending pile to class and get creative with your darning. Spend a few hours with expert darner @lucethread and learn how to successfully close up those holes.

The workshop will focus specifically on darning, which is a method used to mend holes in garments or textile pieces by interweaving yarns to close up holes and reinforce the surrounding area.

Explore the method through either visible or invisible mending. Perfect for socks, jumpers, scarves or any other holey knitted items you might have! 

Work on your own garments or practice on knitted samplers provided in class. 

No need to bring anything else - all tools and materials will be provided and refreshments will be close to hand.

Please take a moment to read our cancellation policy before booking: Unfortunately our classes are non refundable. Due our small class sizes it is also very difficult to transfer your booking to a different date. If you cannot attend a class and are able to notify us at least two weeks before the class starts, it may be possible to fit you in on another date but this is not guaranteed so please give us as much notice as possible to increase your chances. In the event that we are forced to cancel a class, we will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible and offer either a full refund or swap your booking to another suitable date.
