Vilene Seam Tape - White 12mm

Seam tape is an adhesive strip useful for preventing stretch (or too much stretch) on garments in areas such as the front edge, armhole and shoulder area. Used primarily for stretch fabrics to help the garment retain it's shape in problematic areas, but can also be used on woven fabrics for stabilisation. It helps when machine sewing stretch fabrics as it allows you more control. The 12mm width allows it to stay hidden in your seam allowance - for full functionality of the tape, stitch through the middle of it.

Arrange your tape in place before ironing, though if you have a rounded edge, you should iron slightly at the start to help as you place the tape around. Iron on a wool setting for around 8 seconds, and allow the tape to cool for 20 minutes before sewing to allow the adhesive to properly set.

Machine washable up to 40˚ and dry clean.
